Brand story The story of Designed by Man Designed by Man was founded in 2016. Two enterprising young people (Jacquin and Dean) created a jerrycan bar as a joke and posted it on Facebook. The Facebook post went viral, and everyone raved about it. From that moment on, Jacquin and Dean decided to take it professionally. They also thought it would be really cool to create gifts for men. The breakthrough The two men met at the Wood and Furniture College. After graduating, they went their separate ways, but they stayed in touch. Jacquin became a team leader at a supermarket, and Dean went on to study industrial product design at a university of applied sciences. In 2016, they came up with the idea of turning a jerrycan into a small drinks bar. They turned a steel jerrycan into a small cabinet by cutting it open and adding a door. A wooden interior was placed inside the jerrycan. Jacquin and Dean decided to post it on Facebook. From that moment on, things haven't been quiet at Designed...
