PRODUCTION

Founded in 1960 in the province of Varese by Giuseppe Montalbetti, the company began producing bolted and interlocking metal shelving for small hardware stores in Lombardy.

Over time, it came to supply all of northern Italy until the advent of large-scale retail trade, at which point the children decided to expand the company by moving the production site to Cavaglià in the province of Biella in 1999. Today we are one of the most important leading European companies .

The product range is unique in its versatility , all the different types of shelves are designed with attention to every single detail and are the result of constant research aimed at anticipating market needs.

11 production lines, 7 painting plants, and a production capacity of 50,000 shelves/day are just some of the figures that make Grima one of the leaders in this sector.

Grima's comprehensive industry know -how and fully automated production facilities , equipped with the best technologies on the market, allow it to guarantee high quality standards.

In fact, quality has always been a fundamental point for Grima ; in fact, since 1998 the internal company Quality System has been certified according to the UNI EN ISO 9001 standard.

SUSTAINABILITY

Production facilities are managed through the efficient use of energy, materials, and natural resources, minimizing environmental impact . Grima's corporate policies have always been focused on environmental protection. In fact, since 2010, a photovoltaic system has been installed to produce clean energy.

The plant covers a total surface area of 9000 m2 and is capable of producing an average of 1.2 MW per year , sufficient to cover the company's entire needs.
